Campus
Rooms, yard, and laboratory on Browning Street
The Birmingham campus is where structural studios, instrument practice, and materials testing share one site — close enough that a morning calculation can become an afternoon setting-out drill.
Structural studios
Large tables for drawings, wall space for marked-up grids, and quiet corners for hand calculations during evening cohorts.
Practice yard
Pegged grids for total station and levelling drills, with soft-ground scenarios built into surveying workshop days.
Materials laboratory
Curing tanks, compression equipment, and aggregate sieves used in the Materials Testing Laboratory Course under tutor supervision.
Visit before you enrol
Open evenings during term let prospective learners walk the studios and meet a tutor. Mention your preferred course when you enquire and we will suggest the next suitable date.
